Metal Mouth Era: Done? Not!
At long last, I had my braces removed. I have waited for this day for a really long time. I had it for almost 2 years. I wonder how some people could survive being a metal mouth for several years, even more than I have survived. Some people seem to have it forever. Hehe... I am so happy! But I still have to endure wearing ugly retainers for 2 more years according to my dentist. Argh! I hate it! This morning, when I was teaching Sunday School, my 12 year-old student was making fun of the way I spoke (my 's' and 'sh' sounded the same) so I excused myself and took it off in the bathroom. How comfortable it felt. Oh well, I guess the metallic mouth period for me hasn't really ended.

wow! congrats! i know how you feel... naka-braces ako from sixth grade to second year HS.. then wore a retainers from then on till 1st year college... yun nga lang, kaya i stopped from wearing retainers kasi nawala ko...hahahahah! :D

2 years? wow congrats! i had braces on for almost 4! :)) tamad kasi ako pumuntang dentist. i HAVE to go all the way to makati pa just because my dentist is really family - tita to be exact.
And... shux, retainers. I cheated with mine. siguro mga ilang buwan lang tapos every night ko lang sinusuot. :)) kaya eto, ang pangit nanaman ngipin ko and there's nothing i can do coz i already grew my third molars na. tsk!
O well. sarap magpigout after having braces of. Pakain ka naman Pam! :)) just to celebrate! :D
onga! pakain ka pam, esp now u hav a new laptop!!! ang ganda2 tlga ng lappy mo.. can i take him home?? hehehe!
