Changes

Hay! I haven't been reading blogs like I used to. Obvious ba? I haven't been updating mine too, as regularly as I did before.. Hehe.. Anyway, leaving our beloved country seems to be the common theme of a lot of my friends' blogs. As I read their blogs, I felt sad, 'coz I know that it would take some time before I get to see them again.. Of course, I'll miss Philo groupmate + MIS groupmate + bridgemate Joyie, Philo groupmate + MIS groupmate + bridgemate + co-trainee Kelay, Theo groupmate Birdie, Robert who'll be serving as a missionary in Hawaii, Ate Chips' Mark who will be leaving for Canada next year, and of course uyab Sam who'll be leaving for Hawaii to study. But I bet these guys definitely had a good deal of thought before choosing that alternative. I think it all depends on the person and how he or she views certain changes in his or her life. Just recently, I've had to make certain mature and major decisions in my life too. I've sacrificed good friendships and a lot more things.. In the next few months, I'll be making more decisions I bet.. hehe.. I'll just blog about it next time, probably when everthing's final and arrangements have been made.. and that would be several months from now.. haha.. I bet everyone would be surpirsed.. My best friend's sister San-san, who's just my age got married about 2 weeks ago. I remember when we were in high school.. that was like just 4 years ago and we were like nenes back then, and now she's married! Anyway, I agree with King Whitney Jr. when he said that "change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better". So how would we want ourselves to be qualified? I'd like to think that with our Heavenly Father's guidance, I would be confident and hopeful. Fearful shouldn't be an option to those who have faith. ;)
